Shiner
FOSTER Update:
He needs a family that won’t be strict with him. He easily and quickly responds to our voice and commands. He is very eager to please humans and absolutely loves other dogs. He is always looking to our dog for guidance and checking that things are okay.
He is so, so sweet and will blossom with a lot of love. At first he was figgity, but over the mere two days we’ve had him he’s relaxed a lot. I think that when a family gives him time and assurance he will be even more amazing.
He is great in the crate and don’t think he will need it when he is settled. He doesn’t eat much but I do think this has to do with feeling at ease. On the leash he tends to pull at first, but with consistent reinforcement he settles in to a nice walk. And he loves to snuggle on the sofa!
Shiner is a 10 month old lab mix that was left at the shelter by his family. We donât know how anyone could look into that adorable face and turn and walk away. Now that weâve met him weâre sure that they must have been crazy. He is the sweetest boy and great with other dogs. He wants to please and will be easy to train, in fact the vet has already taught him to sit and shake. Super Sweet right off the bat and already walking with his new foster buddy!
