Roman
Roman is a 4-5 year old lab that came from a shelter in south GA. Upon arriving at our vet, they noticed that he was stumbling around and would fall down. We assumed that he had neurological issues and were going to have a specialist look at him once we got him to town.
An emergency trip to one of our vets for a bad case of kennel cough and they wondered if the disorientation was due to a vestibular (inner ear) condition? They spent almost an hour cleaning out his ears and then treating them. Low and behold, he is now much more sure-footed and getting better every day!
Through all of this, he has remained one of the happiest boys ever! The foster has been great with him, taking him for walks and he even chases a ball.
