Remi
FOSTER UPDATE:
Remi / Wink is a young, energetic boy who loves sports – football, basketball, baseball and swimming! He is super-fast and loves to run sprints around the yard. He chases balls, plays tug of war and keep away. He hasnât met a dog yet that he didnât like. He is still young enough to need to chew a lot. He chews his toys in the house and sticks outside. Wink is a quick learner and knows basic commands. He is house and crate trained but he stays in the kitchen when weâre not home. He prefers the floor to the couch but if given an opportunity to get in a big bed, heâll gladly accept. His dream home will have a fence and a family who will give him lots of exercise. He wonât require a 4-legged canine companion but he would do well with one.
ORIGINAL POST:
Remember 1-2 year old Remi, who ended up in a shelter in AL after being hit by a car (we think)? He had a fractured jaw and his eye was so badly damaged that it had to be removed. We’re happy to report that his jaw has healed and the surgery was a success. The look on his face says it all!
He’s in Atlanta now and in a wonderful foster home. He’s a typical young lab and is a bit of a goofball and can get a little rowdy when he plays, but they’re working on that. He got a little barky with the dogs at the vet, but previously he was Ok with them, so probably just getting used to being slightly impaired.
He is ready for adoption. If you would like to make him a member of your family, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com to fill out an application.
