Rachel & Ross

Labrador Retriever - Young - Male
Adopted Medium Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shotshousetrained

FROM THE FOSTER:

This sweet-happy pair is young, fun, silly and they love each other very much. They are both very active and love to run, play, chew on bones and go on walks. Ross also likes to play ball. They are pretty good on a leash and getting better every day. They are crate trained and keep their crate clean and tidy. They are very food motivated and will do most things for a snack. Their new favorite snack is frozen beans and carrots. They have been trained in the past and know how to sit, drop-it, NO and a few other things they are waiting to show to their forever family. They have very good eye contact. She is super smart and leads the pack. They need a fenced yard to play and run around. They will need to be supervised in their new yard to start out. They did well in the doggy play groups with other dogs at the kennel. They both love to be with people and will snuggle up to you and chill. Ross loves to put his big-block head in my lap and be a love-bug but he also loves to be silly and sit on his sister.

ORIGINAL POST:

Rachel and Ross are a bonded pair that were found wandering in north
Georgia. They think they’re around 2 years old and seem to be healthy.

Ross is a little on the scared side and when the shelter picked him up, he
spooked, broke his leash and ran off. He came back later when he realized he
couldn’t bear to be without Rachel. How is that for a love story…

Despite the fear, they are both very sweet and receptive to people once they
realize that they are safe and no one will hurt them. We think they will
come around quickly in a good home. If you think you have the right
situation for this wonderful pair, and would like to foster or adopt them,

info@atlantalabrescue.com with questions.
