Dudley
Last August someone emailed us for help with 2 dogs that were on property that adjoined theirs. They were clearly neglected and according to this person, never had food or clean water unless she provided it. One dog had been hit by a car a couple of years ago and never taken to the vet so he had a wonky front leg that looked funny but seemed to work OK. We told her to get more info and we might be able to help, but we never heard from her again…until 2 weeks ago. Turns out one of the dogs had died but the other was still there and of course we were about to have our first cold snap. We told her to get the dog and we would get back with details. She picked him up that night and to everyone’s surprise, he was great with her family and pets and well-behaved in the house, so she was able to keep him while we got him vetted. We named him Dudley (Do Right) and he’s in our boarding facility waiting for another miracle to happen and for him to find the home that he has always deserved. He is about 5-6 years old
(and in surprisingly great health!) and needs a foster.
