Dottie
Dottie is a 5 year old mix that was adopted out 3 years ago and returned last week. After 3 years living in harmony with another dog and a family with a young boy, she got into an altercation with the other dog when the new dog walker came over. No one really knows what caused the fight, but being the younger dog, she fared better, and therefore got all of the blame and the family returned her the next dayâ¦.
We were lucky to find a foster for her. They live in a condo and are gone during the day and she has done well at home alone. They are active and walk and run, which is what most dogs need and not what she was getting.
She has lived with another dog the last three years and could probably do it again, but we want to make sure that her next home is her last home, so not having another dog would be a plus as far as weâre concerned.
