Boone
FROM THE FOSTER
Boone is a very sweet guy. He is very smart, he has learned how to live in
a house, walk on a leash, basic commands, and how be a member of a human
family very quickly. He is house trained and not destructive. He sleeps all
night on his bed in our room, and does not need to be crated during the day.
He needs to have another doggie buddy to make him feel safe. Grown kids are
fine, but little ones are too busy, and scare him. He loves to be hugged and
loved, and has plenty of love to offer back. He will do his best to try to
fit in your lap if you let him! He loves a warm bed, long walks on a leash,
and chasing squirrels!
Boone is a 4-5 year old lab that was found in a drainage ditch with his buddy. They were taken in by the shelter and his buddy was adopted leaving him behind. We have him now and although he was scared and trembling when we got him, he lit up when he saw his new foster family and their dogs. He is learning his way and doing really well.
