Pound Cake
Cake (aka Pound Cake) loves to play outside and take walks, improving everyday on the leash and learning commands. She is very smart and a fast learner. After only a week, she has learned to sit and stay while I go and prepare her food bowl and she waits until I give the command “Eat” before having at it. She loves her bones and Kong and will spend hours engaged in them. She fetches sticks and brings them back when we are out in the yard. We are learning the command “Find” where she searches for hidden treats around the house. She is doing great in the new crate and is house-trained. She definitely still has a lot of puppy energy so consistency with exercising and training will be key for her forever home. It is evident she is eager to learn and is responsive to training with no doubt that she will continue growing into a wonderful dog.
Who doesn’t love Pound Cake? Well, we’re hoping everyone will after they
meet this yummy girl. She is about a year old and 50 pounds and we have no
idea what she is except that she’s cute! She is great with other dogs and
everyone who meets her LOVES her. She is covered with mud and what looks
like motor oil, but we’ll get her cleaned up and ready to meet you!
