Ritz
FOSTER UPDATE:
Are you looking for an easy-going, mellow, loyal friend? If so, Ritz is your guy! As an older dog with a challenging past, he is not going to run up to you at the adoption events like the younger dogs, but that doesn’t mean you should pass him by. Ritz is a great dog! He doesn’t ask for much – just some food, short walks, a good bone, a comfy place to sleep, and some love. Ritz gets along well with our two dogs and all other dogs he has met. Although he doesn’t like to play with them, he definitely enjoys the companionship of another dog in the house. Ritz has been around many people, both young and old, large crowds and small. He has met many strangers and celebrated several holidays with us, and he was a champ! Although Ritz is good with kids, we think he would do best living in a house with older children. Our daughter is 13 and he loves her and all of her friends! Ritz would also do best in a home without a lot of stairs. He climbs the few stairs to go in and out of our front door, but he won’t climb the stairs to our second floor. We love Ritz and will hate to see him go, but we know there is a perfect family out there that deserves a special dog like him!
Ritz is a sweet older boy that probably has not seen much goodness in his life. He is laid back and lazy. Likes the company of other dogs but isnât too playful. He is very well-mannered and loves although itâs sort of new to him, heâs discovered that he loves to cuddle.
